Hey, thanks for checking out my website. I'm Talon Hird; I was born and raised in Duncan, BC, moved to Edmonton for higher ed and to compete for the Golden Bears wrestling squad, and am now back in BC looking for employment. My interests are at the intersection of finance, geopolitics, history, philosophy, and what these subjects can tell us about where the world is headed amidst the AI revolution. In my free time, I read lots of FT and religiously keep up with every model release and industry development in the extended sphere of AI (this website was actually built entirely using Claude Code, Anthropic's CLI coding agent).
